anybody seen Coldplay in concert?

I've never seen them in concert, but heard some of their unplugged live stuff for radio promos in the UK... (mp3 form of course 😉 )

They sound pretty good live. Real talents on accoustic guitars. So Coldplay = REAL BAND rather than a produced sound. Good stuff.

Yeah they sounded OK. Saw them in Cleveland in Summer 2003 and wasn't particularly impressed. Went for free, but the sound just wasn't doing it for me.

Just imagine a whiney wuss singing the same song over and over with a load of hippies standing next to you and you'll be right there.

saw them a few years ago with James Brown. Coldplay was ok, but I wasn't really a fan of their music at the time.

You must be thinking about the PHISH concert.

David: You know how I know that you're gay?
Cal: How? Cuz you're gay? and you can tell who other gay people are.

David: You like Coldplay.

Whew...dodged a bullet. My fiance wanted to go, but the tickets were ****** on Ticketmaster. She ended up winnign 2 on eBay, so she and a friend are gonna go without me.

I attended Coldplay's first ever Canadian gig in Toronto in 2001. There was only a few hundred people at the show as no one had heard of them yet.

I met Chris Martin and the other band members after the gig.

It was a great show, but I lost interest as their second album wasn't my cup of tea. However, their third album is awesome.

They're good in concert but Chris Martin gets really sweaty when he plays and he can't ever sit still. He ends up doing really stupid things like laying on his back off to one side of the stage or running around the stage like a chicken with his head cut off. It detracts from the event, but it's still a good concert.
