Caught it last night on free Starz sattelite dish previews.

I have really liked all of Arnies action movies to date but this one seemed pretty lame to me. Good action scenes but that was about it. Girl was Tres cute however.

I actually saw it, it was horrible. The plot was really weak and the ending was stupid. But then again thats just what i thought.

Yeah that movie kinda sucked. Anyone notice copycat movies always come out the same time?

Antz and Bug's Life
End of Days and ...damn i know there's something
Stigmata, 6th Sense, Stir of Echoes.
Saving Private Ryan and that other movie..damn I'm not remember these things much :p

Yeah I noticed that too. Like a bunch of high schooler flicks came out after American Pie came out. Scream series... I know what you did... Urban Legends. Also when a bunch of Alien/Sci-Fi movies come out, a whole shabang follows.

Really surprised me. Arnie is usually more astute in picking scripts. He is no dummy but no great actor either. Past roles suited him, even his comedies were pretty good but I got the feeling he was trying to show deeper emotions, acting abilities and so forth and didnt quite make it.

It was a decent flick, not worth seeing again however.

the only redeeming thing in that movie was Gabriel Byrne as the devil. He had a good time with it. He can go over the top with it, and it wont matter, he's the devil for christ's sake :). I don't think Robin Tunney is that cute anyway. Her hair in it made her look funny, she looked better in The Craft.

late.

MAX,
I agree with you about him trying to PRETEND to be what he's not (an Actor). Action he can do, comedy he can do...Drama he's an abysmal failure (that scene in End of Days where he squirts a few tears actually had me cringing a little).

Now, if you haven't already seen it...'Jingle All The Way', now that was when he could still pick a good script. Good Cast, Good Story, GREAT Ending.

Oh well, even Arnie can't be perfect (plus that was the time when he had his heart surgery).

au-nold sucks. his career is toe up. did you see him openly flirting with a series
of honies in england when he went over there to promote something or other. the
muscle head was on live television and made some inappropriate maneuvers on these
reporter lasses.

Are you serious?

Incidentaly, has anyone seen the Conan O'Brian skit where they put a famous person's face on the TV with a cut out for the mouth and then Conan interviews them? They do it all the time, but one of the funniest is when the use Arnold. He says "JINGLE ALL THE WAY!!" about every three minutes. It's hilarious. :D

I actually really liked End of Days. In fact, it was the first DVD I bought. However, I liked it so much because much of the story has parallels to some of the 'unnatural' events I have seen in my life. I don't think I would have liked it other than I could relate to some of it.
