I don't want the Zalman 7000 for overclocking. I want it for the silence and to pay less than an XP-120.
But, people on the Zalman forum are saying they need to take off the metal plate on their motherboard. So, they say using a hairdryer and "fanning" it up and down for a minute will do the trick. But others say you might fry capacitors or something.
Anybody here have experience with that? I'd rather use an Asus K8N4-E Deluxe motherboard since I like the layout. (Of course, this is a socket 754 mobo with nForce4 and PCI-E.)
