Anybody remember this article?

I read a news story a while ago (dunno how long, maybe a year?) about a kid who was severely burned during his circumcision. The doctors & his parents (for reasons I cannot comprehend) decided to make him a girl. He lived up until his mid teens as a "girl," even though it was obvious it didn't suit him.

IIRC he may have had a twin brother.

I'm trying to find this to show a coworker, & I'm not having much luck.

I believe it may have been on MSNBC.

I don't know the article, but there is a book called "As Nature Made Him: The Boy Who Was Raised As a Girl" that is about the incident.
