ViewMaster own!

When I was a kid I had The Six Million Dollar Man, Bat-Man (lame Adam West version), Space 1999 and many others! I just bought my daughter her first ViewMaster and lots of Winnie the Pooh disks.

On a related note: anyone else remember those movie players made by the ViewMaster people that cartridges with about 10 seconds worth of film in them? I had several Six Million Dollar Man movies for that thing too. Anyone remember what they were called?

(God, I am really dating myself with this post).

my little cousin has one of the "new" ones. The slides are the same, but the actual viewmaster is all rounded and stuff now. And its BLUE!

Let me guess.
You were born in 1968?

When you watched the SuperFriends, it was Marvin, Wendy and Wonder Dog, not the Wonder Twins...right?

Super Friends... Those were the days :)

I remember both the wonder twins and the other guys, however I may have just watched reruns. I have no ideal when this show started.

Mine was true old school . . . black metal with a chrome lever that hurt your finger.

We had bambi, and some scenic views, and some others.

We had two. An old metel one and the first GRAY plastic ones.

The old Dinasour slides from the late fifties (?) were cool. As well as the first slides from the jet age. We had mostly science and engineering slides. My dad was a geek :)

My mom threw those out years ago :(

Better still, I remember the old wooden ones with 2 B&W 3x5 photos mounted side by side. Public library had them and they worked just as well. Talking early 60s here.
