The LG-TM510 is a good phone. The voice dialing works quite well. LG got the basics pretty well right (like sturdiness/feel, portability/size, sound quality), but the menus and phonebook could use a little work. It's not horrible once you get used to using it, but some commonly used functions (what time you missed/made/received a call, ringer volume to name two) need a lot of button pushing (though you only press and hold "*" to activate vibrate, or "manners" mode). The charging and battery indicator circuitry need some refinement, but at least if the battery warning beeps if you're on a digital call, it really is a warning, as you can talk for another 10-20 minutes before the phone turns itself off. I'd ignore the complaints you might see about battery life if you're in a digital area. I think the charge level indicator is poorly calibrated. With light use, I can charge every other day no problem. Even moderately heavy users would only need to charge once per day.
The price difference ($150 vs. $350-400) made the choice very easy for me. The V-60c, like most compact Motorola cell phones, just isn?t a very good value in my eye.
