Anybody recommend a good heart rate monitor ?

How serious do you plan on being?

Mostly for running or gym or what?

I have the Polar S720i ... it has tons of cycling features and it's great.

ha ha, I did that but it jumps all over the place so either it's not too accurate or my heart is fluttering. 😀

I'm not a pro by any means. Just walk on the tredmill, cycle and jog.

Cool, thanks. just ordered it. The price was right @ $29.95. If it turns out to be a disappointment, I'm not out a mint. I'm a sucker for a deal.
