Dreamcatcher-

reviews were good and that usually means the book isnt but even the poorest King book is still a great read.

Im almost done and enjoying it but it doesnt seem up to his other works to me. Dont want to ruin it for anyone so I will not say anything more about the plot.

Reading it now. About 200 pages in. Kind of slow so far but all his books start out like that.

Can't wait for the next Dark Tower Book! :)

FlashRam: me too! i've been a big fan of Stephen King's work and his Dark Tower series is one i've really enjoyed. for the most part i prefer his short stories and novellas --> the running man, the long walk, rita hayworth and the shawshank redemption, the langoliers (altho' didn't this seem like a knockoff of a twilight zone episode...the one with the blue guys?), etc.

anyone else read his book "eyes of the dragon?" excellent fantasy stuff...a nice departure from his usual contemporary settings.
