I doubt anyone here would own a Pacifica....

while I don't have either one, here's my 2 cent.

Pacifica: love the looks inside out, but its just too small for a minivan... which defeat the purpose of owning a Pacifica.

4Runner: great engine, gorgegous interior, cyber-cool exterior, but dismal gas mileage.

pacifica is built very poorly, coming from a pro-DCX guy. A friend of mine is a mgr of a local dealer body shop and won't touch them outside of work.

Toyota is the better of the two. If you can afford the 4Runner who cares about gas mileage... assuming that you're living within your means, that is.

Call me an old fogey or whatever, but I think that 35k is a ludicrous amount of cash for a vehicle. JMHO though.

You can get a much nicer luxury sedan for that price

I have a 03 4runner sport edition v8, traded in my 97 4runner for it. I love it! I think there is one other person on here that has a 03 4runner too.

If it was me, I wouldn't spend all that cash on a run-of-the-mill 'boxy' suv, especially with all the curvy cross-over vehicles around. You may regret it after a year or two. Honestly, a good choice is the Nissan Murano.

You may get a deal on an Infiniti QX4(discontinued model) if any dealers have any 2003's left over (probably not, but it's worth checking into. I don't know how long ago they were actually discontinued)
