I was thinking about ordering off of www.intelenetwireless.com They seem to have some good deals for make money phones, however when I was reading their contract it referred to them as a1wireless.com. Now why is this?

Usually companies change names in order to hide bad reviews they've gotten on sites like resellerratings.com. Chances are whatever this company originally went by has some horrid reviews there.

but there's a make $210 deal under T-mobile plans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAM! Shouldn't this be in hot deals???
BTW, in their contract I REALLY don't like this part where it's the only part where they mention a1wireless:

Orders placed with us are processed under the assumption, the customer themselves have placed the order with their personal information such as social security number, drivers license number, credit card information, etc. If at any given time a customer claims that the order was not placed by the customers themselves and is a fraudulent order, we will cancel such orders on customer's request, and A1Wireless USA, Inc. will not be held responsible for the processing of such application. Furthermore, a $25.00 processing fee will be charged to the credit card provided.

A1 Wireless has a successful website, www.a1wireless.com, so WTF?!??!?!

anyone?

I bought a new cell phone with service (one year contract with T-mobile) from them. As per their advertisement, they promised to send a $50 mail in rebate after ?181 days from the date of Activation?.

I placed my order with them in Sept/Oct 2003. Now that I contacted them after 8 months to check the status of my rebate, I was finally directed to a non-1800 number where I could ultimately speak to a customer service rep. To my surprise, the rude rep told me that my rebate was not valid since I terminated my contract, and instead I could have been charged the cancellation fee. The argument that I was provided was that since T-mobile changed my number, the company no longer gets commission from T-mobile, and hence they would not pay me my rebate. I do have the copies of the rebate form, and it clearly mentions the conditions for the rebates. I have satisfied all those conditions, and none of the information talks about the number change.

I?m extremely disappointed at this practice being carried on by these crooks. It?s very natural that if these guys give a number, which is in an inconvenient area code, the customer will have to have it transferred to the proper area code. Intelenetwireless uses this loophole to rip the customers off their rebate. (Most of the rebates are anyway forgotten by the customers due to the 181-day delay period).

.... Now the case is resting with Ohio Better Business Bureau!
