I go into bios to see my cpu temp, and it just rises slowly but surely. It hit 54C then i rebooted to win2k. I see the temp at 57C then slowly drops down. Does the temp rise by staying in Setup too long? I didn't want to stay to see how high the damn cpu temp could have gone. Now it's back down to normal (40-45) range.

Any ideas?
 
Whether in bios or windows, the temperature for me is just about the same. Maybe a degree or so of difference. But it doesn't continue to rise degree after degree when i'm in bios though. It will only rise in degree if i'm playing some intensive gaming or placing the cpu under more stress.
