Anybody nervous about tomorrow ?

Tomorrow is 9/11, anybody anxious ? anybody flying ? Any special rememberances happening where you live ? They are closing Main street here in my town,people will be assembling for a special rememberance ceremony.

It's been a year and it still seems too unreal to believe

i'm going to keep away from media tomorrow as much as i can. I dont need to be told every 30 seconds that it is the aniversary. It is being crammed down our throats at this point. The only stations i actually respect are the ones who are blacking out for the day.

I'd have no problem flying tomorrow -- there's NO way terrorists are going to take over a plane. What makes me nervous is the possibility of a Palestinian-like suicide bombing that could happen just about ANYWHERE in the U.S without a problem .

I think I just want to get tomorrow over with. It will be especially weird around 8:45am or so, whenever it was the first plane struck the tower.

Nothing is going to happen, they aren't that stupid. Why would they wait a year to do it on the exact same day when everyone is on guard. The whole point of their terrorism is to nail us while we're not looking. If anything, 80 billion times more likely to happen the day after.

I wish tomorrow was over with. I'm so sick of hearing the media play it up and go on and on about it. I'm sick of hearing people relate everything and their brother to 9/11. I hate hearing people start every sentence with, "Since 9/11, a tragic day in all American's hearts,..." I hate how literally every conversation on tv now somehow involves 9-11. If I turn on the TV tomorrow, it sure as heck wont be on any Remember 9-11 shows.

Damn straight. I've had enough media brainwashing the whole year, I cant deal with how thick its going to be layed down tommorrow.

Nope, not nervous at all. They're having some rememberance stuff here at work though and ribbons and stuff for everyone. There's also going to be a company-wide minute of silence. As for around town, I'm not sure, I haven't heard anything besides the thing at UT.
