I am going there for vacation next week and I want to know if it was damaged at all by the hurricane?

I'm there. We've had windier days when the weather was calm. In other words, if the news didn't say so I wouldn't have know there was a hurricane on the west coast of this state. We were completely unaffected by the storm........this time........

Yeah, zero impact from the latest hurricane.

HOWEVER, be on the lookout for new tropical storms/hurricanes - last I heard, there were one or two other potential ones out there...

Also, not that it helps you, but this isn't the greatest time to show up. :) It is UNUSUAL if it doesn't rain (at least a little bit) every day. And it's a little warm. But other than that, it's great. heheh.

Isn't there always one brewing at this time of year?
I live on the water on the South Shore of LI, NY and I love yet dread these next couple of months.
