Anybody live in Montréal or New Brunswick?

Hi,

I am going to Université du Moncton for the French Bursary Program (government covers all expenses except airfare for 5 weeks!!!) and will visit Montréal on the way there.

So could anybody give me some tips on where to stay and where I should visit? 🙂

Also, I will arive at the Montréal Laval airport around midnight, so it would be nice if you could tell me which neighbourhood I should avoid at night.

Sorry I can't help but I heard Moncton is a not too good place too visit.

Oh that's just great. 🙂

I could have chosen Montreal but I thought I might as well visit the Atlantic side of Canada, especially because so few people I know ever travelled east of Montreal.

I could have chosen Montreal but I thought I might as well visit the Atlantic side of Canada, especially because so few people I know ever travelled east of Montreal.

Eh............ it will be an experience. I get this attitude about Moncton from some business aquaintences....... maybe it will be different for you.
