Do yourself a favor and go visit Mt. Shasta....beautiful area.

Redding isn't far from Shasta Lake but not exactly jetski weather in January up there 😛

Edit: hehe...go see the largest sundial in the world 😛 I believe it's in Redding.
 
Winter / Ski Mt Shasta. Its about 75 miles away.
Summer Lake Shasta, very nice lake.

Other than that not too much unless you are into redneck bars. Redding is a city of 70,000 in the middle of nowhere.

I've heard about the marijuana there.
