I'm going to Orlando on vaction in acouple of weeks & been looking for some discounted theme park tickets. I already got a hookup for Disney tickets so those wont be needed but im looking for parks such as Universal Studio's,Island of Adventure,Sea World,Wet & Wild. So if you know a site or whatever that sells discounted tickets please lmk. I tried Ebay but they selling for retail price.

if you know anyone in the military or has family in the military that can get access to the base, they can buy them at their recreation office for discounted tickets to amusement parks. my grandpa was in the military and we would always do this before going to Disneyland or Magic Mountain, etc.

I live not too far away. I can think of three ways.

1) Be friendly. People who have the good anual passes (not the cheapest ones) can often get tickets at a discount. Universal offers 15% off. If you pay them part of the difference, they might be able to help you.

2) If #1 fails, find a local. Florida residents often save some money. Not as much, but you might be able to save a buck or two.

3) If you have time, you can attend a time-share presentation. Expect this to take about 2-3 hours and subject you to the most intense sales pressure that you have ever seen. Not worth it IMHO. But if you are desparate... You can find these deals at the lobbies of most hotels, outside of some gas stations, and any "tourist information" place, and any major mall.

There are kiosks all along US441 in Kissimmee that sell left-over (unused) tickets at a some type of discount.

They buy back unsed tickets from within packages and resell them.

Yeah i got people in Florida looking for deals for me now. Thats how i got some cheap Disney tickets 😉. Its Universal thats hard to find.

Depending on how many days you want to visit Universal, they've got a web-only deal on their website for a 2-park, 5-day ticket for the price of a 2-day ticket (~$99). For that price, you get into the 2 Universal parks (Studios and Islands of Adventure - both are lots of fun) for 5 consecutive days.

Dennys restaurants in FL have at the entrance a discount coupon book that should have some deals in it, also most local hotels, restaurants and gas stations in Orlando often times will have the best deals, though I'm sure you'd rather have them prior to getting there.

But I'm a FL resident so I get that discount plus I always just get them when I get there for Ihop or something like that.

What type of discount do people who live in Florida get ? My father lives there & i can have him buy me the tickets if anything. Also how much is Florida taxes ? im thinking about that Universal special but not sure on how much my total be as the prices don't include tax.

Not sure about Florida, but here in NJ there are always 1/2 price coupons for Six Flags Great Adventure on the back of Coke cans.
