Anybody know where to buy colored monitor/pc?

One of my girl's friends is wanting to get a new machine. For some odd reason she wants everything on it to be orange. Anywhere know where to find something like this. And don't say iMac.....

Do NOT choose a PC based on color.

If you must get a can of spraypaint or something.

You can get color kits for the current compaqs in orange.

I know not to choose on color, believe me I could care less what color my machine is. But she is a newbie user and just wants something that looks cool. Stupid I know, but I told her I would ask around. I don't think it would be hard to find an orange PC, but the monitor will be tough..

Check out Alienware. Not only do they make quality systems, but they also provide many different system colors ("Martian Red" looks orange to me).

I don't know if any reputable company sells orange monitors, so that might be a bit tough to find.

I think TonyT is right here. Alienware configures awesome systems. Extremely high performance, and stylish as hell. I own the case that they use in their systems, it's a very cool case. You can custom build just about anything into the system there. Show her the site and see what she thinks about the Martian Red. I think that's as close as you'll get to orange, other than the compaq orange which looks retarded.

Even the base Alienware with no monitor is $1177 thats a lot of cash for a machine the woman only want to look cool

I would say around $1,000, including monitor. Like I said, she doesn't need anything fancy.

Look at the compaqs, for a cheep starter machine it's (the new line) pretty decent.

The plastic kit comes in orange and cover the front bezel, speaker grills, and keyboard buttons

Considering the budget, I agree with Gunbuster - go with the Compaq.
