Anybody know what peach colored roses signify?

My roommate got some roses again (lucky girl) and this time they're peach.

Anyone know what that signifies?

I always thought that the only meaningful colors were red, pink, yellow and white and the rest were whatever.

As many meanings as there are shades... Rose Color Meanings Plus meanings for other flowers, not just roses.

[Edit] Though not all the meanings are agreed on. My site there says yellow is for jealousy; decrease in love, while I learned it as meaning friendship. Guess it's sorta similar - not a high love relationship either way [/Edit]

This is how I buy flowers:

Me: walks into flower store.
Me: "I want to buy 1 dozen roses for my girlfriend"
Flower lady: "what color do you want?"
Me: "I'm not sure, what color do you think she'd like?"
Flower Lady: "well, I think red is overdone, but we've got these really nice peach colored roses here."
Me: "Looks great, give me 12"

I mean really, you think guys keep track of what meaning each shade of rose is suppsoed to have? We are, after all, guys.

Keep track? Nah, just a quick google search. Basically the same general ideas you have, we have. Red - love, white - sweet/pure love, yellow and all other colors - nice, you bought roses.
