Anybody know what card this is?

It's a RADEON X800, like the description says. 😕

It's basically a 12-pipe version of the X800XL, much like the 6800NU was a 12-pipe version of the 6800GT.

The one you linked to is this card.

Well I know it's an X800. 🙂

Is it the same thing as the X800 Pro is what I was really wondering? I don't really follow new tech in video cards as you can see.

I remember a while back that people were having good luck flashing X800 Pro VIVOs to XT's...and at this price it seems like it could possibly be a good deal.

Edit: So I'm guessing it's a different core than the old Pros? (420 vs. 430?) How does this card compare to the 6800 NU or old X800 Pro?

Well, you seemed confused. 😛

It's a RADEON X800 (vanilla). I figured from there you might be able to look up the specs yourself.

This is NOT the same card as an X800Pro; I am almost certain that R430 cards only have 12 physical pipelines and cannot be unlocked like the old X800Pro VIVOs.

The X800 is clocked at 400/700, as compared to 475/900 on the X800Pro.

digit-life still includes this card in their monthly comparison benches, so you can see where it falls with respect to most current models. They don't have an X800Pro anymore (though you might be able to go back a few months and find results from one), but an X800Pro would fall between the X800GTO and the X800XL. An unlocked X800Pro would be between an X800XL and X850XT.

This is what I was looking to find out...thanks. 🙂

All these new cards can be confusing.
