Anybody know the proper name for what you may call "alligator tape" or "finger tape"?? Description inside.

It's kind of a blue mesh that isn't sticky, but grips itself. A friend of mine used stuff that he called "alligator tape" made by 3M. I searched 3M's site and turned nothing up. It's almost like the stuff that they used to wrap casts in. Like I said, it's kind of a mesh, that isn't sticky, but grips itself.

 

Hmmm, I know of some special kind of Ace-bandage that my friend uses to wrap his ankle. It only adheres to itself, but sorry, don't know what it's called=(. I don't think it's blue either...

We used to use something on my horses called Vet-Wrap. It sounds like the same stuff you are describing and I know that they also use it on humans to wrap bandages etc.

I think the 3M stuff is called HoldFast Gauze or something like that. We used some other brand at the animal clinic I worked at. Cool stuff.
