Anybody know of any voice over IP phone service providers with coverage in both Oregon and Pennsylvania? UPDATE: Found one!

Thanks to a tip from a member here, I checked into voice over IP phone service... Looks pretty sweet. Phone to phone, no PC involved, & $25 a month for unlimited calling. This would save me an easy $100 a month. Only problem is the particular one I found (cnmnetwork.com) doesn't have coverage in Oregon... Apparently there used to be another one (dminet.net), but they appear to have gone down.

Does anybody know of any other services like this? I need coverage in both OR & PA, other than that I couldn't care less where coverage is.

RossMAN's link gave me some new search ideas, & I came up with several possible solutions.

This is the best one I've found. $35 a month for unlimited calling 6 PM - 7 AM weekdays, 24/7 on weekends & holidays. This fits my calling habits perfectly, since I don't even get off work until 6 PM. I've submitted a request for a demo (to see if I can stand VoIP), I'll let you know if it sucks.

Might help some of you out with your LD bills...

What search criteria did you use to find that web site?

Please do let us know what the quality is like, if you have ever used BigZoo that would be a comparable comparison I think. Can you call from Oregon to Canada using this service?

I searched for "flat rate long distance." All my VoIP searches came up with high-end telecom links, not at all what I wanted.

This particular one doesn't have service in Canada, but I found this:

Unlimited To Canada, $49.95/month

On second look, 1stfamily appears to be some sort of referral program... I'd check it out carefully...
