I can't wear my contacts for the next week or so, & I'm having a VERY difficult time doing my work. I can't read any text on my screen without putting my nose on the glass. 🙁
Windows XP has a great magnifying utility that takes the top 1/5 or so of the screen & follows your mouse pointer. You still have full interaction capability, you can use dropdowns & such without losing the magnification.
I'm running NT 4.0 here at work, though, so I don't have that option.
I have found one magnifying application (here), but as soon as you click on anything (ie dropdown) the glass disappears & returns you to your application. I find myself having to type, check for typos with the magnifying glass, choose dropdown options, check again, etc.
Very inefficient.
Any suggestions? I'm on the verge of begging my boss for an XP system so I can use the much better accessibility options.
