Anybody know of a benchmark/burn-in tool that manipulates 2D windows?

I'm having a strange problem that only seems to occur in 2D (ie I've run 3dmark 10 hours straight without a problem, and then 5 minutes later while just messing around in windows the problem pops up).

I'm looking for something that will manipulate windows (perhaps internet explorer windows) automatically to see if I can recreate the problem.

Any ideas?
