Anybody know if the BF6/BE6-II GeForce issues have been resolved with the newest BIOS?

I've heard rumors about BF6 & BE6-II owners having trouble with GeForce boards. I know I did when I had my GeForce, in fact I ended up returning it because I was sure it was dead. Basically you'd power it on, & the system would beep no video. But when the shop tested the board, it ran fine in their machines.

Anyone know if this has been resolved? I need a video card that will run the high bus speeds necessary to overclock a P3 on a BX board, in this case my BF6.

well i have a be6.2 and a v6600 geforce, no problem running at high fsbs.

Yes, they resolved it by making the Default I/O voltage 3.5v instead of the normal 3.3v...

But, it works... I haven't had a problem since, I originally just manually increased the voltage to that level, and now its defaulted there...

So, the answer is, a definite.... Sort of....

I've had my BE6 II for six months. No problems with my Herc 64 MB GTS at all.

I've got a BE6-II with a CL Graphics Blaster (GeForce 256 DDR) and not a single problem. I'm using the latest BIOS.

ok, totally OT here, but does the BE6.2 do agp2x? is there an option in the BIOS?

Yup, it's a BX board, so it'll do AGP2X. And yes, you can manually select between 1X & 2X in the BIOS. The AGP speed settings are "Default," "Normal," & "Turbo."

Default - Lets the board decide
Normal - AGP 1X
Turbo - AGP 2X

Hey Viper what kind of GTS did you buy at first? was it a CLA2? If so my friend was having the EXACT same problem as you with the board not detecting the video card. The video card was okay though. He installed a different GTS and it worked fine. Maybe creative made some crap gts?
