Anybody know how to actually fix a hard drive?

As in actually open it up and repair it? I've got a couple 1.8" hard drives that won't work, and i can't afford to replace them, but maybe if someone could do me a favor and repair them for cheap?

Repairing a hard drive requires knowledge of the specific parts inside, and a clean room. Neither of which many people have, even techies here on AT.

yeah, you need to have an ultra clean room, where there isnt even a spec of dust floating in the air. its really hard, and thats why people charge thousands to do it.
