Anybody know anything about Saipan?

My Future wife (fiance) landed a position teaching Art on the island of Saipan.. A little protectorate of the U.S. near Guam.
I've been trying to do some research and find out anything about the place, but the internet doesn't always help.. Maybe people here can help. I've got a few questions:


[*]Any Anandtech Traders There?
[*]Any Decent Electronics Stores There?
[*]Since, it's status as part of the US is confusing.. do they have any fun copyright laws?
[*]Do they get some of the black-market movies and CDs from Japan?
[*]Since they are so much closer to Japan, are electronics cheaper?
Finally..
[*]Are there any jobs for Computer Science Graduates there?

OK, since I never heard of Saipan I decided to dig a little.

There's a Montessori school on the island Brilliant Star School, which has an page describing what it's like what the move is like and the cost of living and stuff....
