Anybody know anything about laminating stuff?

I'm looking to create high-quality laminated business-card sized cards. The sort of thing you would give to somebody and which they would keep for a while because it looks nice (i.e. hang on their fridge).

What is the best way to go about doing this? I bought some self-adhesive laminatable things at Staples but they are kind of low quality. I also saw some 50-150 dollar machines that talk about hot/cold laminating and whatnot.

All I want is to laminate/glossify some business cards. Can anybody help me figure out an efficient/cheap way to do this?

yea there are websites out there just use google

if you want a hard shing lamination you need a HOT laminator. and you can but diff kinds of laminiation. some are harder then others
