anybody know about this mobo?

I am wondering about this 440bx board available from compgeeks...Its such a tempting price...

This is a refurb from a gateway pc.

my question is, I want to know if I can overclock with the bios on this board.

Is the bios a locked type? can I overclock manually i.e, are there dip switches?

Trifecta,
This is an intel motherboard and therefore it can't be oc'd. It is a very stable and reliable board, though.

I agree that this looks Intel. You could overclock it with a slocket that allows voltage and buss speed adjustments. That is the only way I have OC'd Intel boards in the past.
I would keep looking IMHO.

this mb support fsb speed of either 66 or 100. so if you want to oc, you will want a celeron that can do 100mhz. its like make it or bust.
