im about to leave work here in Norwalk, CT and it sounds like the rapture outside.... anybody else in the NYC tri-state area? is it that bad in NYC? i have an hour drive back which looks like its gonna be 2 hours today
 
Doesn't look too bad right now. Not doing much of anything in Bridgeport, just some thunder rumbling off in the distance. Current weather map shows a small cell over southern Fairfield County, the bad stuff is currently to the north of the area.

All hell has broken loose here in southern Connecticut now too. A solid band of really nasty stuff is stretching from Hartford, down through Bridgeport, New York City and into central New Jersey. Should be dealing with lots of thunder and lightning for much of the evening.
