Anybody here use Roadside Assistance?

AT&T and T-Mobile offer it for 2.99/month. That's cheap and it follows the phone, not the car.

Anyone here subscribe to the service? Has anyone actually used it? How's the service? Is it better than AAA?

I've used it a few times. Only had them tow cars somewhere, but all 3 times they were pretty quick and took care of things. I'd recommend it if you don't have that sort of coverage through something else. The two times I've used AAA in the past 5 years, AAA was slower both times than the 3 times I used my cell phone assistance.

AAA is good here- they offer a "Plus" service for $10 more which allows tows up to 100miles 3x a year.

I used this once. I got stuck in Hartford and got towed all the way to Boston area for only $50. If I had to pay full price it would have cost me >$500.

I have it on my wifes phone. I don't want her to have to call around with two kids in the car. Simply the easiest coverage for her!
