Anybody here pay an annual fee for their credit cards?

No way. I refuse to pay for the privilege of using their card.

Sometimes, if there is a fee associated with the card, you can call customer service and get it waived.

Never have had to pay an annual fee. Why should I have to pay for a credit card or checking account? I'd be willing to pay $30 a year for a 0% fixed APR card though.

Hope he visits each of them annually.

Each of them? Certainly not, but he probably visits 40-50 of them, each one 3-4 times a year. Had he paid them from wallet, it probably would cost him $50K or so...
