I'm on the TX border. Don't head up that way much, but at least it's a lot cooler than it is here. Heat index was 111 today 🙁

We had a guy leave where I work to go work at WM HQ as an internal auditor. I know where he works doesn't have any windows, but he did go to that Beyonce or something concert they had a few weeks ago and said that sort of stuff is cool.

No windows might not be good, but then that would be any cubicle farm-type environment. Just have to make sure I get outside plenty after work and on weekends, I guess.

Make sure you go to Norfork Lake.

And Beaver, and Table Rock, and Bull Shoals. I know. If it were up to my brother and my dad, I'd have most of my first year's salary spent on a boat & something to tow it with already 😛

I think you'll like it. The only thing we hear in the state is that you will work hard.

I think for any decent paying, salaried position, you can expect to work for more than 40 hours though.

You said something about being happy not to be in a store. Ask someone there what kind of money the store managers make counting bonuses. You might want to change positons after you establish yourself. PM me if you want to know what one store manager made a few years back.

The weather can be something else though. We don't have much of a spring and it does get hot. However, I am in Boston right now and it wasn't a ton cooler than AR here today.

I b!tch about the heat up here and they tell me "Yeah, but you should see the winters here." I think they are afraid I'll move north.. stay out! they must be thinking 🙂
