Got any pictures cars you've done? Links on good places to start? etc etc etc

I kinda want a nice American classic to complement my JDM ricer but I don't know where to start.

One thing however...

Can you put different brakes on these cars? Cuz damn the brakes sure do suck most of the time.

My old galaxie that I got tired of and sold about 3 years ago.

Yes the brakes suck and yes you can upgrade them to disc on most. The more popular cars have aftermarket brake upgrades and a lot can use parts from other cars that came with disc brakes stock. On my galaxie for instance 77-79 t-bird front brakes are suppose to be a direct swap but I never got around to doing it.

Me and my dad have been working on a Shelby Cobra kit car for years, dunno when it'll get done.

I'm in the process of modifying a 1967 Ford Anglia 105E (the same as the one used in Harry Potter) with Mk2 Escort running gear. Am going from drums all round + 997cc, 38hp engine to discs on the front and a 1600cc hopefully ~80-100hp engine :)

I'm just finishing restoring one, pics from the rebuild progress can be found here. Probably a car you don't see every day :)

if by "restore" you mean "drive" and by "cars" you mean "cars", then the answer is yes

Mwilding and NeuroSynapsis, please post in this thread if you receive them, apparently Yahoo only allows 20 characters in their email header.

I sold my 67 Mustang about 2 years ago. Iwas in pretty good shape when I bought. The only restoration I did was replace the carpet and sill plates and de-rust and paint the inside of the trunk. I drove it as my daily driver for about 3 years, including a stretch where I did 50 miles each way to work - not fun in August with no A/C

1960 Triumph TR3

My dad and I restored that car. Was purchased for next to nothing since it was a pile. Had trees growing throw the rusted floor boards, a small boat sitting on top of it, and rat infested racing helmets in the trunk.

I couldn't justify keeping it at the time. I do miss it though. Nothing beats the sounds of that V8...

The sound of a 1967 Ferrari 275 GT with the V12 , one of my customers has one, what a sweet sound that is :)
