I like "I Need You Tonight" and "Nothin' But The Wheel" (the later with Mick Jagger). He was with J. Geils Band, but he's so much more than just pop. Anybody else like him?
 
I liked J. Geils Band back in the day, but he lost my admiration when he teamed up with Cyndi Lauper in that Rock 'n Wrestling WWF bullsh*t back in the 80s.

He was the lead singer of the J. Geils Band during their hit days (e.g. Centerfold, Freeze Frame, etc).

J. Geils Band was also a band that was more than the pop that people remember them for.

The only album I remember from Wolf solo was Lights Out (again because it was popular).

 
His most recent album is called Sleepless. He's a respected enough musician that both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards sang backup on tracks on that album.
