I know, I know..you guys will probably call me a girl, but I like her type of music sometimes. Usually late at night. She has a unique blend of Celtic, world, and new age music. I have yet to hear another performer like her. I guess Enya is the closest, but her voice cannot reach the richness of Mckennitt's.

Anybody else like her?

Yes, I have all her CDs, but only because I have this tendency to buy everything from the artist/group after hearing and liking one CD. Her "Live in Paris and Toronto" double CD is really really good.

Well, duh. She's a very talented artist!

If you like her music try these:

Meáv: "Silver Sea"
Darby Devon: "Highlands"
Hollie Smith: "Light from a Distant Shore"

They all have a similar Celtic/New Age sort of sound.

Agreed. I dig the new age type music, but I haven't heard enough of her other stuff to really make a good judgement.

Yeah, she's got some good stuff.
Some of my favorites are Standing Stones, The Mystic's Dream, The Bonny Swans, and All Soul's Night.

I'm a huge fan of hers, and especially the CD The Visit. And I love the song The Highwayman. Good stuff.

I particularly like her interpretations of classic poems, like The Highwaymen and The Lady of Shalott.
