Anybody here know who Shu Qi is? (movie: Transporter)

Just saw the ad for this movie...looks interesting. Directed by the guy who did "The Professional". Anyway, there's this girl in the movie whom at first thought was Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger) and got all excited, but turns out its a girl named Shu Qi. Anybody know anything about her or know who she is?

yes.. she's a hong kong star, who's been in movies with people like jackie chan, and jet li (i believe) and... others... anyway... she started out doing "roman numeral 3" movies, which, to us chinese movie watching folk, means porn.. anyway.. so she got famous doing movies in hong kong, and apparently she's now doing movies in america, ala zhang zi yi

Well...now that I've stared at her pics, I don't think they look THAT alike, but they are similar. Since the shot of her in the trunk of a car in the preview was only half a second long, I really thought it was her....

she was actually supposed to be zhang ziyi's character in Crouching tiger. She was the directors first pick(he admits it on the dvd directory commentary)

it's not that she goes by different names.. it's just that there are different ways to spell it.. i've also seen hsu chi.. gotta remember that the Q in the mandarin-chinese language is pronounced like the ch sound in english

Yeah every freakin HK dvd (that she starred in) that I've watched contains her bios which basically starts off with "She did a nude pictorial when she was 18...."

But she is very hot indeed and yes, those pictures she did showed her complete assets...very nice package!
