Anybody here know where the gateway setting is in NT's DHCP server manager?

I'm going WAY outside my support boundaries & I'm trying to help a customer configure his DHCP server. We need to set a gateway of 10.0.0.30, but I can't figure out where the heck to put it. The scope is already setup, serving a 10.0.0.X address, & I've hardcoded his router at 10.0.0.30...

Anybody know?

I figured most of it out, I added DNS to the active options. I couldn't find an option for gateway or default gateway, closest thing I found was router address, so I set that.

I guess we'll see if it works.

I haven't looked at the NT dhcp server in a while, but it would seem really strange that the "router IP address" would be used as the gateway. After all, the router IP is not always the same as the gateway address, especially if you have multiple segments on your network getting DHCP information from central DHCP servers. I'll see if I can dig up one of my old NT4 Server manuals for ya :)

I got him up & working. Apparently the router address works fine for the default gateway. Everything's working perfectly now.

WAY the hell outside what I'm supposed to be doing, but I pulled it off.

Oh, you already got it.... good! Looks like you had it right. Just remember that you have to define a different router for each subnet (range) that you plan to define.
