Anybody here have a ps2 w/wireless controller?

Any brands you want to recommend/stay away from? Is ANYTHING for the ps2 anywhere near the quality of the wavebird? It's a royal PITA to play the ps2 in my living room since my sofa is like 25 ft away from the TV, back when I had my GC I could just turn it on and sit on the sofa and play, now I have to move the ps2 as far from the tv as possible, and then move it back when I'm done.

So, any suggestions? =)

I looked into it once, but all I found was a crappy MadCatz controller and a Logitech that cost 90 bucks here in Canada. Not to mention its strange shape. I don't think there's actually a good wireless controller out there unless I'm missing something. Maybe you could get a controller extension cable. Wavebird is the clear winner here...

But wavebird doesn't have rumble...I found this out only after paying 30 bucks for one. That's kind of disappointing.

I really couldn't care less about RSI inducing 'rumble'.

The Pelican has rumble and is as responsive and highly rated as the Wavebird (even has a turbo button). I have one and am *very* hapy with it! 🙂

I shelled out for the Logitech and I'm very happy with it. Three things tho: Its heavy as it has 4AA's in it but that means it rumbles like no other (yes it can be turned off on the controller). Also, the L2 and R2 buttons are a bit too far down the controller for my taste. Finally, the analog sticks have a greater range of motion then the Sony ones.

Good for you. I highly doubt it really does much to induce RSI though.
