Hey folks,
I'm trying to make myself a system recovery CD via Norton Ghost, and I don't have a clue what I'm a-doin'. Anybody here have a lot of experience to help walk a newbie out? Thanks!

There are some good tutorials here. One's called "How to create a disaster recovery disk." Not sure if that's what you want or not.

Can Ghost restore the image made from a smaller HD to a new and bigger HD? I want to create an image of my 40G HD and restore it onto a 160G HD. When I do restore the image(from 40G HD) onto the 160G HD, will Ghost partition the new 160G HD into one 40G partition and leave the other 120G of space unpartitioned? I want Ghost to be able to partition the 160G HD to just one 160G partition and fill that partition with the content(FAT info, boot sector, all files, etc) of the 40G image. I've read through countless guides and still can't reach a conclusion whether or not this is possible.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

yes it can. you can either specify the size of the new partition (must be at least the size of the imgage) or use the whole 160gb
