Anybody here ever done sunless tanning in a salon?

do you mean the spray one or the lotions you can buy in stores?

no,the spray tan you get done in a salon, those self-tanners you buy in drugstores leave you orange.

lol, I haven't done it but I heard it lasts for about 3-4 days, a little more if you are careful. Supposed to look authentic 🙂

fake tan in a can or in an oven looks so terribly aweful.
Of course i'm brown all year round so maybe its a bit hypocritical.

I'm really, really pale and it seems that being tan is more the fashion now but tanning is bad for the skin,I thought trying the spray on alternative might be the best way to go to give me that healthy, glowing look that's so in style.

My GF works in at a beauty salon, and she's had the tanning done. It looks pretty good, and in most cases it doesn't look fake. That is, providing the girl using the spray knows what she's doing.

Getting spraypainted is pretty vain, don't you think?

no more so than getting your hair styled or using whiting strips on your teeth.I'd say it's a safe way to achieve a nice look.

In moderation tanning isn't so bad, I actually had a dermatologist recommend it to me since I spend no time in the sun.

If there's a use it is so that its not noticable, principle that would
apply to the whole tanning thing then maybe. But if i barely even
notice my stomach turns. Resting and being physically active will
return some ruddiness to your complextion and you're natural
radiance will take over, now that's sexy, but that's easy for me to
say being the college slacker that I am.

perhaps rather than be adamant, I should suggest something, perhaps
the body makeup things girls have these days, the shimmery glittery
or bronzing stuff. And i'll second natural tanning as being much more
preferable, ie go rock climbing or biking or play some tennis take regular
walks during lunch.

Let me further explain,I'm Irish pale and the only thing the irish do better than pale is being sunburned,I'm talking lobster red,so burned you can't sleep unless you're wrapped in wet sheets sun burned.I use sun screen and coverup to try avoid the sun when I'm outdoors.

It varies from person to person, though. Skin cancer runs in my family, and I hear all the time that I should wear the most powerful sun block available before getting much sun.

I usually ignore this advice, though, and I end up with a new mole somewhere on my body after getting any significant level of tanning done. Bad sign.

I think it lasts a few weeks, but don't quote me on that.

Call someplace that does it and ask them.
