Anybody here breed Bettas?

I have two bettas and they're in love.

I was thinking that since they are so hot for each other, that they deserve some recreational sex. However I don't have the means to raise the resultant 100-500 young Betta fry.

Question1:

Would it be morally wrong to let them get it on and to toss out the fertilized eggs?

Question2:

Can I just take a handful of eggs (50-100) and try to raiset that portion of the batch?

Just let them all hatch then throw the ones you dont want down the toilet.

Yeup... check out my pics. The purpose of the bubbles is to hold fertilized eggs after they mate. Bettas are able to breathe air and the babies can only breathe air, which is why the eggs need to be near the surface. The reason they blow em when they're happy is because they're horny and healthy.

no but I have had two in a jar each before and put the jars next to each other. it's rather sadistic so I take the jars apart quickly

and why would you want to breed them, bettas are like .97c at walmart
