Does nybody here work with graphics and make movie-like stuff? If you do, do you use bryce? I needed to do a "math project" seeing who uses lines, and how. I wanted to know if anybody has a clip, or anything like that made w/ bryce that they would be able to email to me so i could use it as my project. Doesn't have to be done by me, just have to be able to show something w/ lines, and i know bryce uses lines to make everything.

No one uses bryce for anything professional. It's completely useless for any actual design. People only use it for something to play with when they're bored. You notice it hasn't been updated in years because it doesn't sell.

I do a lot of graphic design for a hobby... but Bryce is nothing that ... well anyone should ever use... EVER. Bryce doesn't even use lines because it's not a modeling program.

If you really want to experience a good NURBS (non uniform rational b-splines) program, i would recommend Rhino3d

I've worked for a major motion picture F/x firm for about three years. No one uses Bryce. We mostly use in-house, custom applications that run on IRIX or UNIX. For Win32 2D image editing, I personally like Photoshop and for 3D under Win32 I prefer Lightwave, Maya, 3D Studio Max, etc.

any1 have any small files they could email me? would have to tell me what program it was made w/ too, so i would be able to open it...

Well, if you want us to send you the files, rather than a simple screen capture or something, you'll probably have to lay down a few thousand dollars for software to open it.

Edit: BTW, be more specific about what kinda lines you want. Do you want a wireframe of a few simple shapes? Do you want a simple curve? and entire modeled object in wireframe? The info is the non-existant

He probably has some software with an "educational" license 😉
