Anybody heard of the "everflow" fan?

Hi guys. Has anybody seen/heard of this new fan? It's made by Everflow, it's a 60x60 (not sure how high) that can be found on the new volcano II cpu cooler from thermaltake. Apparently, it's a 36cfm 4500rpm fan, sounds pretty good, just wondering where I might be able to purchase one. I saw the info here :

i too would like to hear more about this fan, and how in the hell it can spit out 36 cfm at only 31.5 dba and 4500 rpm. how in the world is that possible?? the fan looks identical to the delta, spins slower, makes less noise, and has almost identical output. either an engineering miracle or bs specs on the output.

i've read about these everflow fans too... if they really do pump out 36cfm at 4500rpm, we have a solution to the loudass delta fan

I wonder if this fan is BS. I just bought the cooler jsut for the fan. 22 bucks. Heck if its anywhere close tot he spec, its worth it.

Just went to that supplied link. "Low tech testing"... lemme guess... the hand test? . But several people have said that from the "low tech testing" that they feel that it isnt really pushing that much more air if not less. So who knows .

Well Thermaltake is not a samll company in the world of CPU fans. And unless they think we are all idiots, its not conceivable they will call a 26cfm fan a 36cfm and not have anyone notice. This is not like their first heatsink or something. I would think it probably pushes 30-33 to be more realistic

Thermaltake has allowed misinformation to propagate concerning their heatsinks however. Just ask Mikewarrior.

Well, whatever it is, it's still LESS than the advertised 36cfm. Once again, Thermaltake's full of Sh*t.

Thermaltake also claims that the chrome-orb is good till 1.2ghz, nad the super orb to 1.5ghz... both of which are highly stretching the heatsink capabilities. In fact, in the average case, they would not work well at those speed t-birds.

CFM is dependent upon alot more than rpm....fin design, and spacing also play signifcant roles in determining CFM. The fan msy just be designed better, it certainly is not unimaginable.
