Anybody heard of GeIL memory?

I read a review where someone compared it and took the head spreader off it
it was just overclocked pc2100 stuff
the company seems kinda shaddy to me
if it is really really cheap and you aren't gonna be oc'n the mem much then maybe you wouldn't be sorry getting it
personally i like to focus on getting the best quality memory

In my opinion, PC3500 RAM that requires you to run above-standard vdimm (2.7-3v :Q) and doesn't even have enough QA to be able to recommend only one specific voltage is not PC3500 RAM and I wouldn't trust any company that said it was. Even their freakin' PC2700 RAM requries "2.5-2.9" vdimm, I mean, come on, already!

What I'm basically saying here is that Hell will freeze over before I buy any Geil RAM.

Yeah, same here, I am never getting Geil DDR again. I got some in a kit from Ocsystem.com (it was a pre-overclocked kit that was burned in and tested for me) that I was using to build a relative a fast computer cause they were on a tight budget and I soon found after taking off the heatspreaders and replacing them with a thermaltake active cooling kit that it was just DDR266 with a heatspreader. Yeah, I agree, Geil RAM is bullshit. I saw that review too. As far as I'm concerned the only "honest" ones, are, from my own experience Samsung genuine, and from hearing stuff on the net, Corsair. Anyhow, this is my take on it.
