Anybody have this? Leadtek TV2000XP/EXPERT

Specifically looking for TV + xfer VHS vid tapes over to DVD.

Not sure on the formats... MPEG, 1,24, etc., but I thought this looked good and i think has the internal audio connector to mobo.

Yep, I have this card in my computer. I used to have the Deluxe but now that is in my wife's computer. Both work awesome. Of course, the faster your system the better these cards work.

yeah, the input quality on the leadtek cards seems fine to me, it's the encoding - assuming you want mpeg-2 capture, I can tell you I have a 1200mhz athlon, and it's just barely enough for real-time capture (about 1 brief stutter in a 1-hour show), and that's without being hdd or RAM limited.

Hey thanks! I have a brand new build... ATh 3000+, Asus A8N-E, Gigabyte/nvidia 6600 pci-exp card, 1 gig ram... so hopefully will do okay. My other apps run like lightening. I just finished it over the weekend, so having some fun!

I wouldn't think you'd have too much trouble with that system - it's MUCH faster than mine.
