Bowflex is ok but far overpriced. You can go to the gym and have access to better machines for a year for far less than the Bowflex costs. My roommate in college had one and after about 3 months he sold it and started going to the gym with me.

My stepdad swears on the Bowflex. He loves it. Now if he'd only get around to using it, it would do him some good

I have used the Bowflex before. I liked it a lot for home workouts since I don't like going to the gym.

I have a BowFlex and I love my machine. If you checkout epinions.com most owner have positive comments about it. For me I don't have alot of time, so this machine actually save me money in the long run.. And yes this machine is overpriced since there's no other machine like it so they don't have compete for prices with other companies.

I became really big using a soloflex, so these things really can work... as long as you use it!

The only advantage I can see in it is the variety of exercises you can do. It's good if you don't have access to a gym, but I personally like free weights a whole lot better than machines.

While some of these units are OK, nothing can fully emulate the workout you get using free weights.
