I live in S.C. We have a fault line that the experts say will do something... so I pay $60/year just in case.

Your shit ain"t 100% free? This got me curious as to how that works here in Canada... can't find much info, think inter-province is covered other then maybe paying a small fee in the $100 range, but if you are out of province you have to pay, like this women:

That would suck being stuck with such a bill. Not even sure how one would pay that. I guess you have no choice but to get a long term loan. Maybe a 2nd mortgage or put it on existing mortgage.
Agree and what state. What sucks about the state where I live is that bankruptcy statutes are pretty unfavorable. For instance - you're only exempt for $15000 on the equity of your PRIMARY residence (+$15000 if you have a spouse). So (as I understand it) if you have a paid off $200,000 home you can lose $170,000/$185,000 of it.
I had to read that a few times to believe it. No one should ever lose their primary residence unless they commit fraud.
Me too.I got a helicopter ride once. Didn't pay a thing. Just make sure you do it on company time ;^)
Your shit ain"t 100% free?
Me too.
We were in Vegas and took a trip to the Grand Cayman but storms were brewing.
That is not bad all, thanks for the link.Looked into it when we rode ATVs in BFE. Never did it but I don't recall it being expensive.
