Anybody have experience with the BIOS upgrades on the EPoX 8KTA3?

Here's the deal: I'm greedy, I admit it:p! I've gotten my 1GHz 'bird to fly at 1296MHz, stable, but it won't run stably over that. Yes, I've tried every single permutation with the multiplier/CPU-clock settings, too. On every other board I've had I upgraded to the latest BIOS and have usually gotten 5-10% stable clock-speed improvement, but I've never flashed an EPoX, and so I don't know if there are any flaky side-effects in doing so. Hey, it does mean the big 1.3, but I don't want to hose my system in the process. Has anybody flashed the 8KTA3's BIOS with success/failure, and has that flashing yielded the type of result I'm looking for, the way the A7V133 BIOS-update does?

Thanks for your time:)!

This has got to be the Easiest board ever to flash the bios on.
I've flashed mine twice, and have never had any sort of issue. and yes your getting a little greedy there.

What do you need to know? I did mine, it was really easy! NO sweat, just do it.
Looks like they update the bios every couple months or so.
