Anybody have experience with Abit's RMA procedure?

I have a NF7-S which I received as a replacement board in a previous RMA to RMA. The original board's warranty is still valid, but they claim the replacement board's is not and I need to pay $25.

On Abit's site, they say
Upon receiving your defective board, one replacement board will be sent back to you with a new SN. However, the warranty extension on this new replacement board will only be ninety (90) days.
Is this supposed to be an extension on the original board's warranty date or the replacement board's? I have no idea how long the warranty is on the replacement board since I don't have a date of purchase or know when it was manufacturered, so this would be useless.

Their warranty length is the really confusing part.

ABIT offers limited warranty on the hardware (the "Product") against defects in material or workmanship for a period of three (3) year from the original date of manufacturing for all products, purchased in the United States (excluding territories) or Canada from ABIT or ABIT authorized dealer.
This sounds like the warranty length is 3 years right? Well, no. The next sentence says:

If your product is within two (2) years from the original date of manufacturing, or one (1) year from the original date of purchase, whichever is longer for Motherboard; or fifteen (15) months from the original date of manufacturing, or one (1) year from the original date of purchase, whichever is longer for VGA Cards and all other accessories.
Not only does this contradict the first sentence, this second sentence isn't even a sentence. There's no verb after the "if" conditional.

I've already emailed Abit asking, but they just responded with a vague email saying I should just send in my invoice along with the RMA. Can anybody help me decipher the policy?

Call them. Tel: (510) 623-0500. Or start the eRMA process, input the serial number on the new board, and see what it states the warranty period is.
