Anybody have any luck finding a DS Lite?

I wasn't expecting this at all. But I guess everyone has the Nintendo craze, and it's not exclusive to the Wii. There were bunches a couple weeks before Christmas.
I wasn't interested until I played one for a while.
Now I want one bad. I can't find them online or in stores.
I wanted punch a particular EB Games employee. He seemed to get much joy out of telling me they are sold out.

I was wondering why my DS Lite sold on eBay for more ($140ish) than I paid. A lot of my games sold for $10+ over what I paid for them too. I just assumed there were shortages due to Christmas shopping.

I picked up a black DS lite when they first came out. There were tons of them, I'm surprised they are OOS!

Is Nintendo's manufacturing capability that low, or is the demand really this high?

i got it for $98 on amazon. i also bought the m3 and a 1 gb sd micro card.

Yup, Wal Mart had as many as they could fit in the case. They had all the kinds - SP, Micro, DS, DS Lite, Etc

I got mine at Target about 3 weeks ago. I finally found a game I like--Final Fantasy 1 & II. It's damn entertaining to watch my wife play Mario (3 I think) though. hehe. Just don't be sitting next to her, as you might get hit.

Found one. A local mom and pop shop and tons of them. Got one of those madcatz case and skin things too. These things are fun.

The black ones are repeatedly selling out locally, and just sold out again today. I am trying to catch them when they are in stock so I can exchange my white one.

For the people posting that they've seen them being sold, any chance you could post the location of the place you've seen them at? Been looking all over for one throughout SoCal without any luck.

Both Fred Meyer's in Fairbanks, Alaska have mountains of White and Pink DS Lites. No black ones right now.

I mentioned it earlier, but the Wal-Mart in La Grande, OR has about 30 of them right now. Didn't look to see what colors they had, I was just passing through.
